FSCKVPS ล่ม เข้าไม่ได้เลยตั้งแต่หลังเที่ยงคืน

ผมโดนมา 2รอบแล้ว ครับ

รอบแรก HDD ไหม้ ข้อมูลหายเกลี้ยงๆจิงๆ รวมถึงๆไฟล์ที่แบคอัพไว้ด้วย เพราะมันอยู่ใน HDD ลูกเดียวกัน

รอบ 2 ก็นี่ละครับ Total data loss ตามความคิดผม มันบอกแบบนี้ อาจจะหายไปเกลี้ยงอีกเช่นกัน

ก็ทำ ใจไปครับ

รอบ2 ผมมีแบคอัพ ก่อนล่ม 8ชั่วโมงอาจจะช่วยได้บ้าง

เตือนไว้ว่าคนที่จะเช่า Fsck แนะนำให้ เปิดอีกโฮส เอาไว้ เก็บข้อมูล แบคอัพโดยเฉพาะ ครับ

9$ Fsck + 9$ gator ก็ยังถือว่า ถูกอยู่ครับ


แต่เรื่องความเร็ว โดยรวม Fsck ไวใช้ได้ครับผมชอบตรงนี้ 

ว่าแต่ ระบบป้องกันความปลอดภัย มันดีจิงๆนะครับ โดน hack ได้ ทุก Server

server ผมมันยังไม่ถึงกับ Total data loss ครับ มันแค่ data loss เฉยๆ ต้องรอลุ้นอีกทีว่าจะ loss ส่วนของผมหรือเปล่า

VZ US West Coast - will be inspected shortly

VZ UK - Starting at 8:50am GMT
VZ Texas - Work in progress
From customer reports it apepars that "some" nodes are up though if we rebooted them they would fail As such we are going to leave them running and work on just downed servers
10:20 GMT UK servers vz1-10uk have been restored and we are now working on the next batch
12:46 GMT We are now working our way through vz40uk -> vz77uk to establish where things stand. We have people onsite working quickly as possible. Once we have worked out where things are exactly we will release a full report of what servers are where. We do expect this to take 5 to 6 hours
13:05 GMT Servers 20-40 are currently being evaluated as well. vz38uk has data loss
13:41 GMT server41uk has full data lost
13:53 GMT server2.fsckvps.com is being restored
15:54 GMT vz49uk has now been restored
16:26 GMT vz40uk has been restored

เพิ่งจะมีโอกาสเข้ามาติดตามสถานะการณ์ ในฐานะลูกค้าเก่าคนนึง

ไปหาข้อมูลจากบอร์ดของพวกผู้ให้บริการในต่างประเทศมา ท่าทางจะสาหัสกว่าที่คิด

มันกลายเป็นว่า แทบไม่มีใครบ่นนาย Rus เลย
จะมีก็พวกทางสายของ Parallels มากัดเอาบ้าง
แต่โดยรวมแล้วเห็นอกเห็นใจกันมากเลย

และตัวการของเรื่องนี้ที่ฝรั่งเค้าถกกันก็คือ HyperVM จาก LXLabs
ในเรื่องของความอ่อนด้อยของระบบ โดยเฉพาะระบบใหญ่ระดับ 50+ nodes ของ FSCKVPS

Without a doubt the provider has done the best they could, LXLabs is of course the problem here.
I would happily return to FsckVPS at some point if they ran a different platform.

So for now I'm looking for alternative providers, perhaps vpslink.com? Will be a big step in pricing though

อ่านแล้วสนุกมาก...แต่ก็เสียวหลังวาบๆ เลย
เพราะ ถึงทุกวันนี้ผมจะไม่ใช่ลูกค้าของ FSCKVPS
แต่ผมก็มี acc อยู่ใน VPS ที่ใช้ HyperVM อยู่
ใช้อยู่ 4 ที่ ใน 4 datacenter ทั้งยุโรป และ อเมริกา

สงสัยต้องมีการพิจารณาปรับเปลี่ยนอะไรบางอย่างแล้วล่ะ....




ปล. มีการทำ poll กันด้วยนะว่าจะใช้ HyperVM กันต่อไปมั้ย ลองแวะไปดูได้ที่นี่
