Hello,

It has come to our attention that your "xxxxx" account currently contains 1004162 inodes (which is essentially the number of files under your account). This may be due to a large number of cached pages which are not being properly deleted when new cache pages are created or a large number of temporary or core files. These files can be safely removed without affecting your site and should be as soon as possible.

Because of the extremely large number of files, certain scripts on the server (such as quota checks and statistics) are getting hung on your account which is preventing them from processing other accounts properly.

7b.) INODES
The use of more than 250,000 inodes on any shared account may potentially result in a warning first, and if no action is taken future suspension. Accounts found to be exceeding the 100,000 inode limit will automatically be removed from our backup system to avoid over-usage, however databases will still be backed up. Every file (a webpage, image file, email, etc) on your account uses up 1 inode.

Sites that slightly exceed our inode limits are unlikely to be suspended; however, accounts that constantly create and delete large numbers of files on a regular basis, have hundreds of thousands of files, or cause file system damage may be flagged for review and/or suspension. The primary cause of excessive inodes seems to be due to users leaving their catchall address enabled, but never checking their primary account mailbox. Over time, tens of thousands of messages (or more) build up, eventually pushing the account past our inode limit. To disable your default mailbox, login to cPanel and choose "Mail", then "Default Address", "Set Default Address", and then type in: :fail: No such user here.


A break down of the inode usage by directory may be found in your home directory under the file name "inode-distribution.txt". The path to the file is /home/point79/inode-distribution.txt

แก้ไขยังไงครับ ใครมีวิธีลบ inode บ้างครับ

inode ก็คือ file ในโฮสนั่นแหละครับ

เข้าผ่าน file manager แล้วไล่ลบอันที่ไม่ใช้ออกได้เลยครับ

domain อันไหนไม่ใช่แล้ว ถูกแบนไปแล้ว พวกนั้นลบออกไป น่าจะได้มาเยอะอยู่ครับ

ถ้าไม่ได้จริงๆก็ อัพเกรด plan โลด

แก้ไม่ได้หรอกครับ ถ้า inodes เกินระบบ backup อัติโนมัติของเขา "จะไม่ทำงาน"

แต่เราสามารถกดเองได้ครับ และถ้าเกิน 300,000 ก็จะไม่มีสิทธิ์ Backup เลยครับ (จะย้ายออกมันก็ไม่ Backup ให้ด้วยมั่ง)

ส่วนของคุณ มันแค่เตือนว่าคุณมีแสนนึงแล้วนะ แค่นั้นละครับ

อ่านดูและ เป้นเหตุผลมากกว่าครับ

เขาพยายามบอกให้คุณแก้ไข เช่นการลบ file cache ต่างๆ ไรเงี๊ยะ

แล้วก็ระบุ directory ที่มีการใช้ inodes เยอะๆ เช่น

เขาบอกให้คุณลด ถ้าไม่ลด ก็จะทำตาม schedule ของระบบเขา (อันนี้เขาไม่ได้บอกมา) แต่ผมว่า .. เขาจะลบไฟล์ / suspend อะไรทำนองนี้ละ
