ผมว่า เอามาใช้ในเว้บไซต์ รับรองครับ ใช้ share hosting ยังรับ Script ที่เราเขียนได้สบาย ๆ ครับ
ผมคาดการณ์ว่าอย่างนั้นนะครับ

ตามนั้น
แล้วก็เท่าที่อ่าน ๆ มาข้อเสียเยอะกว่าข้อดีครับ

Almost every single website on the internet is I/O bound, not CPU bound, web applications spend their time waiting on external resources (databases, memcache, other HTTP resources, etc.). So the part of me that develops websites professionally isn't super interested, Facebook is in the exceptionally rare circumstance that they've optimized their I/O to the point that optimizing CPU gives worthwhile returns.
เค้าบอกว่าเว็บส่วนใหญ่เราเน้นใช้ I/O มากกว่า CPU (เช่นการติดต่อกับฐานข้อมูล, memcache, บลาๆ) แต่ Facebook เหนือกว่าเว็บทั่ว ๆ ไปตรงที่เค้าพัฒนาระบบจนถึงจุดที่การปรับแต่ง CPU ส่งผลดีกับเค้าได้
แล้วก็ Hiphop นี่แปลง PHP -> C++ -> Binary Code ครับ เค้าบอกว่าคำสั่งบางอย่าง (เช่น eval() แต่ไม่รู้มีอะไรอีกมั่ง) จะทำงานไม่ได้
สรุปว่ายังไม่ค่อยน่าใช้ครับ
