Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute Google's strategic external communications plan for Thailand, manage daily relationships with the B2C/B2B media, and supervise a PR agency in Thailand for in-country PR support
* Develop press materials (including press releases, Q&As, and talking points) and oversee the Google Thailand blog
* Represent Google as a company spokesperson for a wide variety of media and public affairs queries in Thailand
* Train and provide advice to company officials for press conferences, media interviews and presentations in Thailand
* Work with the Southeast Asia Communications and Public Affairs team to create and implement imaginative, B2C/B2B-focused PR campaigns to launch and promote Google products
Requirements:
* BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record (MBA a plus)
* At least 6 years of experience in communications/PR (consumer, corporate, public affairs, PR agency) and the technology/Internet sectors
* Strong editorial relationships with key dailies/broadcast press/business publications
* First class written/oral presentation skills in Thai and English
* A creative imagination capable of promoting new products in an exciting but practical way with the ability to think strategically and learn quickly
* A self-motivated, well-organised, team-oriented approach to work and the ability to operate hands-on in a start-up environment
