ช่างรวดเร็วดีแท้ Joomla 2.5 ตัวเต็มเพิ่งออกมาวันที่ 25 ม.ค 2555 ไม่ถึงหนึ่งอาทิตย์มีหนังสือออกมาแล้ว :o
ที่สำคัญเป็นหนังสือแบบอ่านฟรีซะด้วย ขนาดเว็บ Joomla.org ยังมีเอกสารที่เกี่ยวกับ Joomla 2.5 ยังไม่ละเอียดขนาดนี้เลย :'(
มี 2 version เป็น HTML กับ PDF ขนาด ประมาณ 28m มีจำนวนหน้า 262 หน้า
ด้านเนื้อหาก็ประมาณนี้

ผมได้ทดสอบ Joomla 2.5 กับ Joomla 1.7
ติดตั้งแบบลงใหม่สดไม่มีการปรับแต่งใด ๆ ยืนยันว่่าถ้าเทียบกับ Joomla 1.7 แล้ว Joomla 2.5 เร็วกว่าครับ
แต่ไม่เร็วกว่าแบบ 50% หรือ 60% อะไรประมาณนั้น น่าจะเร็วกว่าสักประมาณ 5-10%
Joomla 2.5 เพิ่มความสามารถอัดไปขนาดนี้ แต่ทำได้เร็วกว่า Joomla 1.7 ก็ถึงว่ายอดแล้ว

• Components
• The new redirect component enables redirections to URLs in order to avoid '404 not found'
errors.
• A new scalable search component has been introduced. It pre-searches the content, sorts results
by relevance, suggests alternative search phrases, processes wide range of document types, etc.
• The survey component has been eliminated.
ผมยังใช้ 1.5 อยู่เลย ไม่กล้าเปลี่ยนด้วย กลัว extention มันใช้ด้วยกันไม่ได้ :P
ตอนนี้ใช้ 1.5.xx อยู่ถ้าไม่อัพเดตเป็น 2.5.xx ต่อไปจะยังใช้ได้อยู่เหมือนเดิมใช่ไหม แต่จะไม่สามารถติดตั้งพวก คอมโพเน้น โมดูล ปลั๊กอินได้ ผมเข้าใจถูกป่าวหว่า

ใช้2.5 อยู่ครับ Extension เริ่มเยอะแล้ว ผมว่าโอเคมาก เห็น 3.0 มาแล้วแต่ไม่กล้าเล่น :wanwan035:
