Step by Step
1. Pick a root keyword that gets lots of searches a month per google adwords keyword tool. (click the exact match keyword box)
2. Add modifiers to the root (click broad match for this step)
3. When you find something you like, click the “only show ideas closely related to my search terms box. (leave broad match on)
4. Sort by searches per month.
5. Pick your keyword
6. Go to Godaddy and see it’s available as a domain name
7. Do a search for Godaddy coupons (there are always $7.50 coupons for domain names)
8. Register the domain name
Place your keywords:
9. Title tag (I think everyone knows that one)
10. H1 headline
11. Twice in the 1st
paragraph
12. Once in the second paragraph
13. Place them in the description tag (This is where you’ll also write your “ad”) the description tag is many times what Google uses in their listing. The headline of the listing is usually the title tag or at least part of it and the rest comes usually from the description tag.
14. To get the best “Ad” possible (listing) go to google and type in “ads by google” and the keyword you’re targeting. This will bring up sites that have content network ads on them. Look over a few sites to get a feel for what the top 3 spots, ads say. Since these ads are competing for your attention, more so than the ads on the Google search engine listings, they are generally much better at grabbing your attention. Use what you find here to write your description tag and if possible your page title. (Place the keyword at the beginning of the title)
15. I highly recommend you invest in a tool. It’s called SEO Pressor. It’s a little expensive, $97 but it’s about the only tool other than buying domain names that you’ll need. SEOPressor.com what it does is tells you in real time exactly what you need to do to your page for “on page SEO”. With the method of using the exact match keyword as your domain name, you many times can get away with just on page SEO. I’ve had sites I blew together using this method, forgot about them, didn’t backlink or do anything, check a couple months later to find they are ranking high on the 1st page of Google and bringing in money every month. Never underestimate the power of exact match domain names coupled with spot on “on page SEO” What you’re shooting for with SEO Pressor is a perfect score of 100. That coupled with my own internal linking strategy, not always, but many times is all you need for a number one spot. There is a REALLY good WSO that fully covers this subject. They guy makes a TON of money, I know as he ranks number
one for lots of Seen on TV products that I go after as well. Recommended SEO WSO here. ( I think it’s only $7)
Internal Linking strategy is as follows:
16. Using the primary keyword on each article page, link back to the home page 3 times using that keyword. In other words let’s say your site is about the Nikon D90 camera. You have an article about Nikon lenses. You would link back to the home page using Nikon Lenses 3 times.
17. Link to another article using the keyword of that article. Let’s say there is another article about D90 filters. You’d also link one time to that article using the keyword D90 filters.
18. Once you’ve done that and you’ve also linked each article page to each other as described above, from the home page, link to each article page twice using the keyword of that article. If the article is about Nikon Lenses, link to the article page using the keyword Nikon Lenses. You would do that twice for each article page. (You may need to extend the content on your home page and also rewrite a sentence here and there in order to do this. Don’t get picky about it, just do it really fast. Most people coming to your site are not going to take the time to read the article. The content is there mainly for the Google spiders. You don’t want to use an article spinner though. Even the best ones put out crap articles. If a human reviewer ever looks at your site and you have some machine generated crap, you’ll probably lose your listing.
19. Link to a couple of your other sites placing the links at the bottom of the page. Link out to some sort of ”Authority” site like Nikon or whatever related to your product.
20. You’re now done internal linking your site
21. Google now 100% will know exactly what your site is about. Since it’s all about relevancy, you’re about as relevant to that exact keyword that you can get and there is a better than 50% chance that this is all you’ll need for a number one spot.
22. If you find you’re going to need some backlinks, you can go through the hassel of doing it yourself (I personally hate it and always have) You can find some super cheap backlinkers on the arriorforum.com. Here’s a good one if you’re lazy and don’t want to wade through sending pm’s and emails back and forth to find someone. (You most likely won’t need much with the exact domain strategy, SEO pressor and my internal linking)

23. Once you’ve done all this, check to see if you’re in Google. Type site:nameofyoursite.com if you’re in the index you’ll show up, if you’re not follow these steps, you’ll be in in less that 2 hours.
24. This is actually the really easy part. You should get your site into the Google, Bing and Yahoo index (Yahoo and Bing are the same as far as search results) Once you get in which usually is less than 2 hours, it sometimes takes a few days for your site to start clawing its way up to number one.
25. If your site hangs up and doesn’t climb up to number one after a couple weeks or so, apply the external linking strategy.
26. Don’t fret about it. For whatever reason some sites will rank high in Yahoo/Bing and not in Google and vice versa. Sometimes you’ll have a number one listing and for some reason it’ll drop to number 7 then a week later it goes back up. Since you can’t fully control it, don’t worry about it. The key is to build lots of sites. That’s where the big money is. You’re putting yourself out there all over the place. A high percentage of your sites will do really well. Don’t worry about one or two. Don’t spend a bunch of time on them. Just follow the steps, if it hangs up, apply external linking and move on to the next site. It does help over time, once you have a bunch of sites online and they are in the listings and there are new links going to your site and some going out, you’ll climb to number one much faster. It all kind of snowballs.
