Our last scheduled maintenance resulted in a bug that caused us to inadvertently credit VAT (value added tax) to affiliates and publishers instead of to the taxing authority.
The impacted transactions were PayPal sales from countries where ClickBank is required to collect VAT between approximately 5:00 p.m. PST on 2008-01-08 to 5:00 p.m. PST on 2008-01-11.
Unfortunately, your account (XXXXXXX) was impacted by this bug. In order to reconcile this mistake, we are transferring the improperly credited VAT out of your account and paying it to the appropriate tax jurisdiction. As such, you may notice a change in your reporting numbers from the aforementioned period. After this change occurs today (2008-01-14) each affected transaction will be reposted with the correct amount.
